HR10-250 on ebay
I'll be posting my two stock HR10-250s on ebay. Any thoughts as to a reasonable price and/or reserve?

Do a search for completed auctions and you'll see what they go for.

Ebay tips:
1) Don't set a reserve price.
2) Start bidding at $1.
3) Make the description accurate.
4) Include photos.
Basically, just let the marketplace determine the sale price. As long as you have a good description and photos, you'll get a higher sale price than if you include a reserve (which scares some bidders off).

I couldn't agree more.
I personally will not even bid on reserve price auctions. I just don't see the use for them. If there is a minimum price you will accept for something, make that your starting bid and be done with it.
Something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay you for it today. Take what you can and move on. What else are you going to do with them?

Agreed with what everyone said. The closing prices are all over the place. When I sold mine a few weeks ago, the completed auction prices were all over the place between $125 and $250. I put BIN prices of $175 on both and started them at a penny, no reserve. One sold for the BIN. The other went for $305 on a snipe bid. Search ebay under my user id. Feel free to copy my auction listings if you want.

I guess there's still some people out there that still want to buy a DVR that won't work with any of the new DIRECTV HD channels.

Frankly, of the all the HD channels they have announced there are probably 2 I might really want to watch so until I am FORCED to change I won't. 90% of my recording is OTA locals anyway.

Why these irrelevant, gratuitous comments? Over and over and over again.
I'd really like to understand the pathology of it.
Why?
