So, I see you know how to use Google. Is there anything that this adds, or did you just feel like posting a link?

Oh, sorry I offended you. I thought some people might be interested in some of the latest news that I found. But now, I'm properly chastised and hanging my head in shame!
Does your crankiness add anything to anyone's life, or do you just like being a curmudgeon? <vbg>

Any specific articles, why not link to them, not hard to google "tivo"
I think pkscout is saying, umm why post a link to a generic search?

it really is best to only start a thread that has a specific topic. Latest news on TiVo is kind of a broad topic and people might dump just about anything in here and thus make it hard to follow topics of interest. In short it just adds noise to the forum instead of a finally tuned signal like "Check out these reviews of the TiVo HD" and then providing maybe even 4 links to various reviews. You have gotten a rep already in your short time back here for starting a lot of threads versus 2 or 3 well defined ones.
This is not crankiness, just a desire to keep the forum easier to read through as the subject of threads is defined enough to know if you want to read that thread or not and keep the same threads from pooping up again and just duplicating each other.

Indeed, I know you all have the betterment of the forum in mind.
I will try to keep in mind your reading preferences when I post.
However, I will put you on my "ignore" list so I can maintain my usual good spirits and good energy, and hope your days get better.

you know in your other threads when you were asking for help the same people who are asking you to observe some thread ettiquette were there to answer questions and try and get you to observe some thread ettiquette then as well.
If you repsonse to the people who are willing to help out when you have questions is a childish thumb your nose at us then you will not get much out of this forum now will you?

Next time you find a thread title too difficult to understand, might I suggest you PM the thread starter and ask them to request a moderator to modify it? Alternatively, contact a moderator and suggest them to clarify the subject line.
The signal to noise ration is also not helped by this kind of petty fighting within a thread, either.
I will now end this discussion.
