Intermittent audio outages

I'm wondering, has anyone else experienced a similar problem: I have one HD channel (733 NBC on Cox Cable Las Vegas) that has intermittent audio outages. Approximately every 2 or 3 minutes, the audio drops out for a few seconds (no pixilation as I've seen in other posts)

I've call tech support. They flashed the Cable Cards to the latest firmware, but nothing changed. The tech support guy said he couldn't think of anything else to do except replace the Cable Cards. But since it's happening on both tuners, I can't believe both Cable Cards have the same defect.

Does anyone have a theory as the whether it is a cable problem or a TiVo problem?

That is how my issue started. Then after a week or so I started getting audio drops plus pixelation. It's gotten progressively worse every few days. Tivo now has me trying component cables instead of HDMI.

After having my S3 since it was released I'm surprised this problem started only a month ago.
