What kind of antenna for the HR20?

I am contemplating a change to the HR20, and I wondered what kind of antenna was required. I now have the 10-250 pvr with the three lnb antenna. Will the HR20 receive mpeg4 video?

The HR20 requires the five-satellite dish (typically not referred to as an antenna.) The HR20 does receive MPEG4 channels, and that's the real motivation for getting an HR20. DirecTV will swap out the dish for you when an HR20 is installed. The HR10 will still work with the new dish (but won't see the new satellites.)

I'm sure stevel wanted to say this, so I will.
More information about the HR20 can be found here.

Thanks for the dish information!

I will check out the link. I currently have a three lnb dish with a device that combines the inputs on two cables. I guess I will have to change that too.

Yes, you'll have to change the dish, but as I said above, DirecTV will do that for you at no additional charge. Like the one you have now, the newer dish has four outputs. I'll be having this done on Sunday.
