i remodeled my house and had my tivo unhooked from my phone line for about 10 months how do i up date my tivo? what will i get that i am not getting right now? thanks for any help

You update4 it by connecting it back to wither a phone line or ethernet connection(if applicable) and letting it connect to the TiVo mothership and get an update.

You will get everything in the software that has been updated since you last connected, not to mention programming information. This depends on your current software version.

hook it up adn see what happens. after 10 months the account may be frozen and you need to call a CSR to get a switch thrown.

Are you still paying for the TiVo service? You will need to be up to date on that to get the updates.
