Britney Spears. Really. Not that busy now, and needs to improve her image. It would also pull in younger viewers the sponsors would LOVE. Britney does lots of things badly, but she CAN really dance. She'd be a pro dancer there, of course. In same vein I'd love to see Miley Cyrus enter as a contestant, after her dad did it. Would bring them a much wider audience that way too.

I think my list from this other thread would apply here too.
Which reminds me... I need to add Kym Johnson and Julianne Hawt to that other list...

On the sports front, I think it's time they challenged a professional baseball player, but I don't think the timing would ever be right for that.
On the B-list celeb front, I think Dustin Diamond (Screech) would be hysterical to watch.
For the obligatory "older" celeb, I would recommend Patrick Stuart.

D'oh! It was my own suggestion, and I forgot all about the retired ball players!

Antonio Banderas can dance. He had a movie out last year about teaching at risk high school kids to dance, and he danced in the movie. He was great, too. He was also in Evita, but I don't think he danced there.
I'd love to see Patrick Stuart give it a try. I'd especially love to see him foxtrot. He's so elegant - even when he's doing an action movie.
John Travolta used to be a fantastic dancer. Rent 'Staying Alive' if you've never seen it.
Can't stand Anthony Bourdain, don't care about the others, except maybe Masi Oka. That would be interesting. He sure handles a sword well.
Nobody else in particular comes to mind that I would really like to see.

I was talking to my wife about this last night: When they cast these shows, they have to be carefull to make sure and cast enough "stars" that will join the DWTS live tour so they can keep that money making machine rolling. If they put in too many "A-list" stars they won't have anybody new for the live show.

Being a huuuuuge TNG fan, I think he would be great for the show.

That's three for Patrick Stuart!
Now who's going to convince him to do it?

Jennifer Love-Hewitt
Pierce Brosnan
Halle Berry
Harrison Ford
Jessica Alba
Jessica Biel
Matthew Fox
Evangeline Lilly
Shania Twain
LeAnn Rimes
Faith Hill
Tim McGraw
Drew Barrymore
Russell Crowe
Johnny Depp
Jennifer Anniston
Lucy Liu
Gong Li
Ziyi Zhang

Yeah, but it's impossible to think of celebrity B-listers that you really WANT to see!
I mean, do you want Kathy Griffin?
