Not to mention how unproffesional Tabatha behaved in front of the "clients". Tyson in the end didn't seem like such a bad guy. Either that or Tabatha was such a bitch she made him look like a teddy bear.

Dr. Boogie and Ben were lucky not to be elimiated. Theirs were pretty awful as well. Daisy has been consistently good. Doesn't she have the least experience out of all of them? She the one to beat.

BTW, doesn't Tabatha look like she has felines in her genes?!

Yep, I thought for sure that the judges would look past the bickering in favor of their talent, but they've never considered past talent before, so I shouldn't have been surprised. I was hoping it would be Boogie and Ben going.

Yes! Tabatha definitely looks part feline!! Very nice exotic features when made up, but wow! she doesn't look so great in the mornings.

LOL! ++1

Insulting a co-worker in front of clients is grossly unprofessional. Take it to another room or wait until later. I'll give Tyson credit in that he makes his clients feel comfortable and feel that they're in good hands, even if I don't like all his chosen styles. I think if Tabatha and Tyson had at least tried to jointly sell and support their choices, they might have had a shot at saving themselves on their past performance.

I'm still rooting for Anthony although I wouldn't be disappointed if Daisy won.

But WOW! I'm still surprised the Bravo producers let 2 members of a dramatic feud depart before the final competition since there's no one left to pick up the slack. And they were both in the top 3 in terms of talent.

I missed the beginning. How did Tyson and Tabatha end up as a team?

Believe it or not, since Tyson was the reigning champion, he actually picked her for the Short Cut challenge. He then made up the other teams. In the elimination challenge, they had to remain as a team.

Huh. I got the impression watching the show that the Tabatha-Tyson feud was one-sided and all Tabatha. So, his choice of partner is not too surprising. He probably thought that since she was his best competition, if paired up they'd win easily.

In my opinion, Tabatha deserves the credit for tanking the team since if she'd taken charge and challenged Tyson to perform, he would've probably listened. I still say it's too bad that BOTH of them are gone as at least one of the final 3 really doesn't deserve to be there. (read Boogie/Ben).

Yep, I got the same impression. Tyson saw Tabatha as the best there, and strategically picked her last on the cutting utensils challenge because of it. I think that's when it really heated up. I don't think that he disliked her though, just respected her...but I do agree with her about his ego.

It's funny that at the end of the episode she the elimination on Tyson. I wonder if watching it back, she realized that it was mostly her hairstyle on the bride, coupled with her unprofessionalism (wtg Tyson for keeping your mouth shut during the whole attack and letting her look like the idiot) that did them in. It really is too bad 'cuz they were both very talented.

I wasn't too crazy about Daisy in the beginning, but she's growing on me. Too bad about the Wall Curse!

I was watching a show on TLC Friday night similar to this one. It takes place in the Vidal Sassoon Academy. It's nowhere as fun or drama as this one, it's actually on the boring side, IMO.

My wife recorded it as well. Needless to say, 10 minutes in she deleted it!

I watched the whole thing, thinking it might get better. It didn't...other than getting to know the people a little better. I was expecting a Shear Genius knock-off, thinking it was a competition, but it turned out just to be their academy. I kept the SP just in case I ever get bored enough to watch again, but doubt it will happen.

RE: 5/23 show (the photo shoot one...doesn't show a title)

OMG, the curse of the wall has been broken! About time! I was really afraid that it would live on this week, and was very certain it would. Ben really lucked out...I don't think he had a clue what his end result would be. I'm still having trouble sorting in my mind that between Daisy and Boogie, Boogie is the straight one. Hmmmm...still not buying it.

I had the same reaction. "Boogie a dad?!" "Whoa, Daisy is a lez?!"
You're right, Ben did indeed get lucky. It should've been Anthony in the finale.

Still have not caught the reunion episode. Interested to see if Tyson and Tabatha put their difference aside. Or should I say Tabatha put her's aside.

I thought Tyson looked great in the Reunion show. He's more of a blond than platinum and his hair is cut short.

And who is that tool who is hosting it? He also hosted the Work Out Reunion show and he was awful in that too.

Boogie stated over and over again throughout the show, as well as the reunion show that he was straight (but loved that he said that it had nothing to do with wanting to see Rene on the beach, give him a beer and take him home...then saying it had nothing to do with what he wanted to do with him, lol. That was the best part of the reunion show imo.

I wasn't surprised about Daisy since it had come up earlier in the season, it's just funny that she doesn't send out anything one way or the other sexually so you just don't think about it, then Boogie claims to be straight. ROFL.

Definitely a better look for Tyson! Despite his arrogance, he really came off pretty classy and professional (I think Tabitha's unprofessionalism really accentuated that).

I never said you did. I was replying to the discussion in general. That's why I didn't quote you.

As for him saying he was straight-- if you watch the reunion show carefully, he never actually said he was straight. He said something along the lines that finding Rene hot has nothing to do with whether he's straight or not. That could be interpreted in a few different ways.

As for the time during the series when he said he was straight. There was no ambiguity about what he said... but COME ON!! He had just got done saying how hot he found Rene.

He really has been careful other than when we all questioned if he was joking I suppose. I noticed that Anthony was careful during the reunion show not to tell his orientation either, even after being asked point-blank. I can see why men and women alike would be asking about him. ;0)

WTF!! They already had the reunion show?! I've been out-of-town all week and thought I'd catch up this weekend when I get back. I thought the finale was next week and the reunion would follow. Have they already shown it? I was reviewing the video blogs and just saw the Boogie was kicked off - not Anthony.

What exactly have I missed?

Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. They just did a show with all of them before the finale, so that they could all predict who they thought should win, etc. (it cut off after only 2 people had answered though, so I'm rerecording it, padded). ;0)

Pheww!! Thought I was going crazy there for a sec. But it may all be a waste of time to catch up since it appears that Sally has made up her mind re: Daisy winning already. If you watch her video blog of the last ep, she literally gushes about Daisy and that's pretty big for "I'm too sexy for my hair" Sally.

Of course, the Bravo producers "retain the right to blah, blah, blah" and may do their typical "What the hell was that?!" finale and choose Ben. And then won't we all have something to talk about then...

I thought Daisy was really smart in the last challenge. I think the wet sex kitten wasn't hard to do, but by her not using too many products really helped her. She said she didn't want to use too much or else it would be "milky" with all the water they kept showering the model with. Also, the way she sheared her hair slanted across the front. I think she played that one smart.

She definitely got off easy with the wet look, but you're right...it would have been easy for a more inexperienced person to go with products without thinking about the consequences.

I thought it was strange that the judges and photographer kept talking about the roots of Anthony's model. I understand the root problem (which Anthony should have seen on his own), but didn't get the impression at all that that's what the photographer was referring to when he was telling Anthony to watch the hairline. I thought he was talking about keeping her hair back, off her face.

I'm going to miss this show when it's over, which is funny considering we all went into it thinking "a show about styling hair? How interesting could it be?!". I've really enjoyed it and am always looking forward to the next episode!

Finally saw the reunion episode. How annoying was it that Tabatha was the fan favorite? She's annoying, unprofessional, nasty, bitchy and hateful. She didn't even have a legitimate reason as to why she hates Tyson (the fact that he reminded her of a leprechaun?). Giving her the 10 grand just promotes that kind of behavior. Boogie should've won!

Well, I'm happy with the result since I liked Anthony but I didn't like the final challenge itself. In fact, I didn't like any of the challenges where they were supposed to imitate another stylist's signature cuts.

Didn't think that any of them pulled it off well during the season and certainly not in the finale. Poor Daisy, boy what a stumble at the worst possible time!

Yep, they all pretty much sucked. Anthony being the lesser of three bad hairdos. Even the viewer poll was pracitcally split evenly.

I was pulling for Daisy the entire season. If the winner were chosen based on their history, she would've won for sure.

What a letdown of a finale! Nothing exciting, not even Daisy dropping her bowl of color. I liked all three in the finale, I'm glad Anthony won. What does he do next???? Next up? TOP CHEF!!!!!!!

I think the show would have been better if every loser had to go do a day as Jonathan Anton's assistant and listen to him cry and whine and feel sorry for himself. THAT would be an incentive to do a great job.

Yeah, it was a pretty uneventful finale, but I kinda expected it to be since finales on these shows usually are. No surprise that Anthony won, but for a moment I thought it would be Daisy. Just once I'd love to see the finale "challenge" turn out to be their full body of work so that those who skate by just trying not to be eliminated don't end up winning (that's not what happened here, would just like to see that be the surprise ending...rewarding true hard work).

I'll tune in again if they air another season. ;0)

I think it would have been more exciting with Anthony, Tabitha, and Tyson. I liked Daisy, but she wasn't on her A-game for the finale.
