iPOD Question

I know when the photo iPod was released an adapter to transfer your CF or SD cards to your iPod was also released.

I have a 30GB Video iPod and I am finding conflicting advice on whether or not this device will work with my iPod.

Is there a device out there I can use to transfer media cards to my ipod, the only one I can seem to find is a dock which I don't really want. I want something I can use out on the road.

Hmmmm... I would think the "photo adapter" would work. I've got one. But I use it with my iPod Photo.

Might might not. When the ipod photo camera adapter came out some guy tested it with a bunch of different things on the end of the USB card. Some worked some didn't. It was pretty hit or miss.
