can I move my seasons passes from S2 to S3 somehow?

Or do I have to do it manually?

Sorry, it's a manual job.

Whenever I've upgraded to a new TiVo, I just grab my laptop and sit down in front of the TV to copy all my season passes, wish lists and to-do list into a WORD document (or plain text). I also take this opportunity to drop a lot of stuff I'm no longer interested in. It does take some work, but I don't miss out on anything.

I have a USB video capture device. The easiest way is to make a small video file of all the SP's and Wishlist items. Put that file on a thumb drive, and retype the information back into TiVo.

If both units are hacked you could use the SP Backup/Restore feature built into TivoWebPlus 2.0 to transfer your info. Otherwise, it's a manual job.

I think TivoWebPlus doesn't work on the S3. Not sure, just remember hearing that in some thread . . .

It's running beautifully on mine. By far the quickest I've seen it run on any TiVo.
