Is your cable company having issues with all cablecards in the area, just cablecards in S3's, or just yours?

In Austin, I was told that they can't pair new cablecards. This has been since the daylight savings switch(about a month). Also the analog channels 1-99 don't work.

I've got TWC here in So. Calif. and 8 Motorola CableCards in S3's. No problems installing or using them for a couple of months now.
Are you sure the installer followed Tivo's install directions?

So after reading this thread...is installation of a cable card something the average user should not attempt? My local TWC storefront said they'd just give them to me to install myself.
Thanks
Jim
Oh - after further reading see that I should expect issues...
In reading the threads, I see references to a cablecard installation guide...is that included with the TiVo? Thanks.
FURTHER EDIT - I guess this is a linky to the pdf version...

You didn't read my posts.
I have Time Warner in Houston. They let us do self installs. I have a great, perfectly working TiVo Series 3. With two cable cards.
You may expect issues, but not all of us had them.
