Which wired USB adapter to use?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to connect to my wired network, I have a silver-casing series 2 with USB but no Ethernet port, so I'll need the adapter. I checked the TiVo site and this forum and can't figure out what USB I have, TiVo says to look on the box under the "package contents" list to see if I have v. 1 or v. 2, but my box has no such list.

I can look up under the DVR system information using my remote control that its software v. 8+ so I'm not worried about the software 7.2 problem, but I want to buy the right version. Does anyone know where I can find this info besides looking on the box? Perhaps by my model # or something? I want to make sure I order the correct version adapter!

I think the v1/v2 on the package box is referring to the USB adapter's packaging, not your TiVos.

Of course, the easiest thing to do (if you have a wireless network) is get the TiVo-branded wireless USB adapter.
