New Season Pass problem or fluke?

Missed recording tonite of BOSTON LEGAL - it was on there several hours before, but did not record. History said it didn't record because the program was no longer in the guide. But it was there. Any one else ever have this, or is it just a "guide" fluke?

I have recently had a different season pass problem. Found out that Brothers & Sisters did not record on Sunday night, but on Monday night it was still on my to do list. Yet other shows recorded on Sunday night and there was no conflict.
On Monday I noticed that CSI was not recording I went to the to do list and there it was "recording", it gave me options to continue recording or watch now. I tried to manually force it no good, tried on the SD no good. Same thing Tuesday with NCIS. I rebooted last night hoping this will solve the problem. If anyone has suggestions that be great.

I think the reason it did not record BOSTON LEGAL was that the start time changed from 10:00 to 10:01. But shouldn't the unit have picked up that change in the guide?

R10 (SD) missed it (no longer in the guide), but HR10-250 did get it -- although the ABC feed (channel 86) wasn't in HD. Not sure if this was a national or local problem.

I have an HR 10, and it did NOT get BOSTON LEGAL.
I did watch the last half-hour of it "live," and it was NOT in HD on the Boston affiliate WCVB-HD, so it was probably a network problem.

I saw the same thing but luckily I caught it before it started and was able to reschedule the recording. While browsing the local channel in the guide earlier, I think the guide data did change. When I first selected that channel, I saw the upcoming progams change, so that might explain the "no longer in the guide" message. It does not explain why the season pass didn't recongnize the change and re-schedule, though.

Both my TiVO's missed the episode of Battlestar where ######## dies!!!! I'm so pissed.

Since the complaints about missed recordings seem to have died down, does this mean that these episodes above are "flukes," or has everyone just resigned themselves to the fact that this thing is here to stay...?

I've been having problems with Lost on ABC HD 86. While first in the To Do List, it went missing because "someone in household changed season pass". I had to make corrections two weeks in a row.

My bad, but this is OLD news now. I watch in in HD as well. I'll edit my post. Some of you guys take TV way to seriously.

I've been having problems where programs out about a week or so are being taken off of my TD list because "someone in the house changed the season pass". SInce they've been so far in the future, though, I've left it alone and in every case within a day or two, the episode reappears in the TD by itself. The only time I manually reinstated an episode was about a month ago when Survivor was removed two weeks in a row on the night it was to air.

All in all, everything seems to be working OK. But this disappearing act makes me nervous to the point where I check my TD list every day.

I check it at least a couple of times a day, and occasionally catch something for that night. Obviously, this is a problem that is never going to be resolved, and something we'll have to live with. That doesn't mean it's right. I am currently getting a six-month credit, and when it runs out, if the situation still exists, will ask for (and probably get) another credit. This is NOT what I'm paying for.

Mine missed Survivor too. Looks like they are having problems with the guide data again!
