Problems with FX channel
So Time Warner changed the lineup of FX from channel 58 to 37 for NY... My Season Pass for Dirt is screwed up now... I even deleted and re-did the Season Pass and still doesn't work.. The Tivo says that FX is on the new channel, 37, but it records the old channel, 58... WHat the heck?!?! I have a S2 Tivo? Any ideas? Thanks.

It might think FX is on both channels. Go to the Channels List and uncheck channel 58.

Will give it a shot.. but past experience, Tivo still tries to record unchecked channels, and I just get a black screen...

Only if you have a season pass for them and there is no checked channel that you receive that matches.

Ok.. So unchecking 58 worked, or at least it seems thus far...
Now.. here's another good one... I want to record the DSC channel.. I have four of them, 18 Dsc cable and box and 28 Dsc cable and box.. I checked, unchecked and nothing works! they always record but i get the lines (like I don't get the channel!).. what's up with that? Thanks.

Its the opposite for me. I have basic analog cable (don't ask) and a series 1. Tivo thinks FX is on CH 37 but is really on CH 58. So its been taping the wrong channel (for dirt)

The unchecking thing worked for me and it is still working... Now if only DSC would be so nice...
