Medium-"The Boy Next Door"
I searched but didn't see a thread...
Good episode, I thought. Fun to see Peri Gilpin again, as well as Kyle Gallner (though it seems he usually plays the whackos).
I admit, it took a few minutes to figure out what was going on, but I enjoyed how the story line between young Allison and old Allison were tied together.

Wow! lol, barely remember it 'cuz it's been so long since I watched it. I do remember it was a really unique (and good) episode though. All the "changes in the past affecting the future" stuff really threw hubby for a loop though.

Was it a repeat? If so, I missed it the first time around. I just watched it today.

That's strange! I think it was the last episode to air, but was at least a week ago. Not really sure now, lol. Can't imagine them repeating an episode so soon after originally airing it, but there's no telling.
Ok, just checked Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Medium_episodes). It shows this one as airing on March 7, but doesn't show one for last night. Maybe it was an older recording on your list? Or maybe they replayed it after all. ;0) Phew, I was starting to think it was my clairvoyant powers making me think I'd watched it before it was aired, lol. JK

Well, I was out of town last week. I don't know when it recorded, but it was while I was gone. I thought you meant it was a re-run.

I thought Beaver and Hannah were good and it was funny to see them reunited in different roles.
But you're right that poor Kyle Gallner (aka Beaver) does tend to play the teenage psychopath role all too often. First on Veronica Mars, then Cold Case and now Medium. At least I hear he plays a superhero on Smallville. Although I bet it's a crazy psycho superhero. Heh.
Oh, wait, he plays a normal kid on Big Love. At least I think his character is "normal," at least in the context of the other people on that show.

Helps if you put the Original Air Date (OAD) in the thread title . . .
Thanks!

His super-hero character, Impulse, is a small-time thief. A little on the reckless side, but basically a good kid.

Good episode. I'm going to miss Medium not having new episodes for a while.
Thank God for my Series 3, though. Wouldn't want to have to decide between Medium and Lost.
