Big Grin Instead of asking one question by one, here is what I want to do!! Is that possible?

Hi,

Like I said in the subject, instead of asking one question after one, here is what I would like to do... Please, just tell me how (or if) it is possible!!!

I would like to plug a Tivo behind a DirectTV box (I guess that is possible!) and I would like each footage recorded (IE Superbowl Final, NBA match etc.) to be in MPEG2 format on my computer with the correct footage name!
Is there a way to automate that with Tivotogo or whatever? Or do I have to copy, file by file and convert, file by file?

Thank you for your time, newbies are so...so!

SM

It is possible if you modify the Tivo.

Go to the Underground Forum and do a search on Zipper. It is a hack to DirectTiVos which will allow you to transfer files from it to your PC.

With a standalone TiVo, it will have the correct name anyway, at least as good as the guide data. Generally, the TiVo files download as the name of the recording.
