recording lower priority program

i have a season pass for desperate housewives which is at the top of my list - and larry king as the last. king is repeated a zillion times ...

today i happened to look at what was going to be recorded (and to delete all the larry kings for the day) when i noticed desperate housewives wasn't scheduled. checked out my season pass and indeed, it wasn't going to record because of a conflict with larry king!

this is the first time ever tivo decided to record a lower priority show - has anyone had this happen recently?

Do you have the proper overlap setting enabled? Messages and Settings --> Settings --> Recording --> Overlap Protection
