Dead Toshiba SDH400 for parts, anyone?

I have a Toshiba SDH400 that died. It probably just needs a new hard drive, but my husband wants to just get DVR from the cable company. I hate to throw this away, anyone want a machine for spare parts? I know they can be hard to come by. Let me know, I also have the remote.

Didn't hurt to ask! We can actually find the remotes most of the time, we have finders on them but sometimes they end up SOOO far away from the other one we can hear it!
