24: Day 6 6:00AM - 8:00AM, EP1/2 - OAD 01.14.2007 *SPOILERS*
So I am bored and can't wait for the season to start.
I am glad to see that Peter MacNicol (a.k.a. Larry Fleinhardt of "Numb3rs") will be acting in it! I think he's a great actor and it makes me want to see the show even more now!

I'm sure it's not a record, but it is against the rules.

Just read through the rules. You're correct.
However, at least I got the thread title correct, according to the rules (but now changing it, if I can). I will now go into every show thread with an incorrect title and post about it.

Apparently the thread title cannot be changed once posted. Bummer.

I don't have a problem with discussing the show now, with proper labling of the thread. Many of us have discussed UK shows that are months or years away from airing here. TV reviewers who were sent the DVD are already discussing.
I like seeing Peter MacNicol as well. I've only watched the first 2 so far but he's lined up to be the evil guy in the White House this season. Hopefully he's just misguided and not a traitor like previous bad guys. I'm tired of every season having people in sensitive positions that appear to have gone through no security vetting at all.

Well, I figured that generic setup on the chair would play into his escape. Love the vampire move, I was certain for a few minutes we wouldn't see a kill in the first hour, glad I was wrong.
Hey mods, how about fixing the title to 6:00 AM-8:00 AM.

Yep. Kal Penn.
Looks like we'll be seeing Dr. Bashier from DS9 also, Alexander Siddig.

Can't we just all get along?
Seriously though, I always A-S-S-U-M-E that spoilers are part of these kinds of threads. So I read with caution whether it's stated on the title or not.
OK on with the subject at hand. Another President Palmer is a little hard to swallow. David Palmer was much more credible. His younger brother (emphasis on younger), is just not believable.
On the other hand, I knew the man of steel would get away, but not that easily! And that the neighbor really is a terrorist. Oh well. Let's hope the rest of the season isn't as predictable.

Now I recall why I can't stand Chloe, she's so annoying.

So what is the Jack kill count up to now? 1? Do we count a suicide bomber who is outmaneuvered?

Okay, I have watched the various trailers for the new season, but is there some source to figure out how the heck Wayne Palmer became President? Or is this just something that gets resolved as the season progresses?
And is it just me, or is Peter MacNichols Character shady? I believe Wayne's sister alluded to him shredding the Constitution and the President mentioning how she never liked him.
So far, the Original President Palmer was the best!

You haven't heard that rule. If the president is indicted. The last president's brother is automatically the new president.

At one point, the latitudes and longitudes of about 20 major US locations (Pentagon, Statue of Liberty, MIT, etc) was displayed on Chloe's screen. For no good reason, I decided to map some of them. The Pentagon was right on (and I'm sure I'm on a watch list now for verifying that). MIT was right on. But the coordinates for Harvard University (in Boston) were actually Washington Park in Albany, NY. I didn't check anything else, but I'm sure someone else here will be bored enough to check them all and report back.
They also had "California Theme Park" listed. I guess they decided not to test Disney.

Six Flags Magic Mountain (So Cal)
Paramounts Great America (No Cal) (Beverly Hills Cop 3)
Knott's Berry Farm (So Cal)
