Hooking up two TIVOs - help a newbie!
Do I have enough connections to hook up another TIVO?
The cables come ino the house on the left, but the installer only ran three cables out the right side to my DirecTIVO and regular DirecTV box in the other room.
Is it as simple as just plugging in another cable?

Those are the grounding blocks. Assuming that the fourth cable is connected at your dish, then "yes", all you need to do is connect a cable to the unused ground block connection and run it to your new DirecTV DVR.
Later, if you needed more than four connections to your various Receivers/DVRs, you would install a multiswitch here. The four outputs from the grounding block would connect to the four satellite inputs on your multiswitch (e.g. Zinwell WB68), then you would have 8 outputs for your various Receivers/DVRs.

What type of TiVo are you aiming for?
Another DirecTiVo? If so, you WILL need to hook into your satellite dish.
If you're planning to use a stand-alone TiVo with an existing regular DirecTV receiver, you're already all set. Your receiver is what's getting the satellite feed.
A TiVo should be able to control the DirecTV box's channel changes and record from its A/V outputs.

Well, not a TIVO actually, an R15 (shudders). I'm going to keep my R10 for the main TV and put an R15 in the other room for the kids programming.

They're getting hard to find. eBay is probably your best bet, but use caution when buying DirecTV equipment from eBay. Weaknees might still have some, but they'll be pricey.
