Quantico

It would seem that no average (or less than average) looking people join the FBI. How would it hurt the show to include among the scores of recruits a few who aren't among the beautiful people?

Too hectic and too silly. And if the FBI Academy were really run as is depicted in this show J. Edgar would rise from the grave and tear down the Headquarters building.

Not the worst thing I've ever seen and in a new season when there aren't that many good new shows it's probably worth a few minutes of your time to form your own opinion. But for me, well, I just don't have the patience for such a nonsensical premise.

I really don't like the dual timelines of the storytelling. It's also too bad there aren't a few more buttons that could be left open on those Henleys.

I think two epsidoes of this has been more than enough for me.

Deleted 3/4 of the way through the second episode. Just too dumb for me.

I like it, and I've been nuking several OPs after one episode this year.. so being a keeper is notable.. Either my hard drive is going bad or I am having ABC probs, since the last ~10 minutes were very glitchy (and I saw glitches in my overnight recording of World News Now off of ABC). I haven't YET noticed it on other channels.. so hopefully it was the broadcast..
But the 5/6 of the show I saw was very entertaining.

I'm glad they explained that the twin thing was on purpose and not the twins themselves being devious.

I deleted my SP, too. I realized I still had the second ep un watched on my DVR, and I was dreading getting another one.

Despite the gorgeous women, I still could not be tempted to sit through another convoluted, time-jumping, mish-mash episode. The eye candy was great. The story? Not so much.

SP gone. Second ep deleted unwatched.

All of these people have some deep, dark secret? All of them?

So far it seems only 3 of however many in the class have deep dark secrets. Plus the guy instructor seems dirty. Is that unusual? Maybe. It's television.

It's not great but its exciting. It could get worse but I'm still in.

TVLine calls it "How To Get Away With Treason". Another site called it "Grey's Academy"

This. I could already see the affairs between the Josh Hopkins character and the other FBI agent forming as well as between the various recruits. It's moving toward soap opera status. I'm out. I quit about 1/2 through this episode.

It will be interesting to see the ratings of the third episode because I read that they retained almost 100% of the numbers from the first to the second episode and have already signed a deal for the back end of the season.

It's better than I thought it was going to be. I'd certainly rather watch it than How To Get Away With Murder, which it resembles in a few ways.

Precisely the two shows that came to mind as I was watching it. Very much a "Shondaland" feel.

Ok, add me to the SP-deleted list. I made it to the scene where Bollywood is watching the video in the coffee shop, and suddenly has to take the owner hostage. Stopped right there. I can't take the stupidity.

The drama, the flirting, all the hidden secrets... just too much. Clearly a different demo than most of us, it seems.

The entire scene where they recreated the terrorist apts, and they have to sift for clues--so much teenage angst & drama bouncing around I could barely watch (and these are not teens!). It's just so far removed from what most of us perceive the FBI as, there's no way I can stomach it.

Funny, because "Grey's Anatomy"(*) also did the "the two lead characters do it before they realize they're co-workers". Though I don't remember, was it made public in "Grey's Anatomy", at least that quickly? I did like that she just said it right away.

Oh yeah, she's another "furriner takin' our jobs!!!!". Saw a clip of her on something else, and has a strong Indian accent. Yeah, I now know she was an Indian actress and model.

(*) How many other shows have done that same thing?

This is one show you don't want to watch without a DVR. I had to watch it "live" and I was pretty much lost.

When I watched the first episode. I fell asleep.
When I watched the second episode. Ditto. I fell asleep.
I eventually watched the end of both episodes later and I seriously have no idea what the frak is going on.

If it works that well, it's gotta be a keeper, right?

I'm not saying I "got" everything in the episode necessarily, but I honestly am not sure what you're talking about.

I didn't back up any more than usual.. and for me, usual is just usually 8 second skip back several times when I missed a word or something.. (Though I leave CC on, to prevent some of those.)

They are doing the twin-twist from Big Brother?!

I've got too many shows to watch, this one probably needs to get kicked aside.

I just cancelled my SP for this show last night. Too many better shows to watch.

They're really pushing the main actress, saying the show stars her, and she's heavily featured in the posters, but as far as I can tell this is the first time she's ever worked in America.

Is she a big star back in India or something?

She is a huge Bollywood star, one of their highest paid actresses, and a former Miss World winner.
