TIVO with antenna and satellite question

I'm a newbie and was interested in purchasing a TIVO box that will record 2 shows at once that is compatible with over the air antenna and directv. Is this possible? I get all my locals through antenna and the others through directv. The series 2 boxes that I looked at were only compatible with an antenna with the standard box and not the DT box.

The only TiVo which meets that requirement is the HR10-250 which is the HDTV model. It can record two shows at once from either satellite or antenna, but only from digital broadcast channels from the antenna, not analog.

As you noted, the DT TiVo cannot record from both satellite and antenna on the separate tuners.

Any and all DirecTV Tivos meet those requirements (which did not include HD). Finding new ones (vs used) is the challenge because D*TV no longer offers them as a choice, though they may still be available with a little luck.

Um, no. Only the HR10-250 can record from the antenna input. On all others, the antenna input is just a pass-through to the RF output.
