What your cable company supports as far as cables is moot.
You don't use the cable box anymore.
It's what your TV supports that is important.
S3 comes with Component and HDMI cables to attach to your TV.
Or good old red/white/yellow RCA if you don't have an HDTV yet.
It does not come with a optical digital cable to connect to your surround sound decoder though.
