No one button delete on Series3?

I just got my Series3 and was surprised the recycle bin and one button delete weren't there. I have the 8.1 update. What's up with that?

Also no multi room viewing? My Series3 sees my other tivos but when you click on it is says the other tivos don't see Series3. Is that normal or do I have to do something to get it to work. Thanks.

All perfectly normal, and well-discussed in multiple threads around here. Sorry you found out the hard way *after* purchase!

EDIT: Missed that you have 8.1... if that's true, disregard my statement. No idea what should be in 8.1!

Recycle bin and one-button-delete is expected to appear in an update within a few weeks.

Are you sure you're running 8.1 on your s3 and not 8.0.1b? 8.1 is still in closed beta.

You have 8.1? I thought 8.0.1b was the latest.
What is one button delete? Is that the feature where there is a deleted folder?

One button delete is in the latest iteration of S2 software. Dumps a program into a "deleted shows" folder. It's a failsafe for morons like me who accidentally delete a show they wanted to keep.

Look again - I'll bet you have the 8.01 update (probably 8.01b) and not the 8.1 update. Tivo has only release 8.1 for the Series 2 boxes.

As for MRV, the Series 3 doesn't support MRV in the current release.

If you DO have 8.1 on the Series 3 - provide details!
