Series 3 won't display one OTA channel any more

Today I noticed that my S3 is showing a blank gray screen when I select channel 30-1 (the local FOX affiliate digital signal). It shows all the other OTA channels fine and it's shown this one in the past.

I checked my HR10-250, attached to the same antenna through a splitter, and it shows 30-1 just fine. In fact, both receivers show a signal strength of 85 on that channel, but the HR10-250 shows the programming while the S3 shows a blank gray screen with no audio.

I have reset the S3, and I checked signal strength. 30-1 is on Frequencey 32. The S3 also shows 32-3 on Frequency 32, and when I tune that, I get the same blank gray screen. Tuning 32-3 on my HR10-250 shows the same signal as on 30-1 (though I have to manually tune it as the HR10-250 doesn't "find" it in the same way as the S3.

I get that channel on the cablecard (185), so it's not a crisis, but it is bothersome. Any ideas?

Did you try 32-1 on the S3?

If you can't tune it in either on the mapped channel or source channel, then it's likely a signal problem.

I have seen this in my local market, where the primary channel is not "-1". So my local MyTV affiliate is, for some bizarre reason, broadcasting their primary signal on 35-3, with nothing on 35-1. The mapped channel is supposed to be 20-1. So 35-3 should map to 20-1. However, the S3 sees nothing on 20-1 even though it sees 35-3.

So check 32-1, 32-2, and 32-3 on the S3. If anything other than 32-1 has the primary channel, the S3 won't see it on the mapped channel.

I have asked Tivo about this now multiple times, and they don't get it. So I just asked them to update guide data for the unmapped channel (35-3) to match the primary channel (20-1) so I can at least record things.

I did, same gray blank screen.

Signal strength, though, shows 85% signal. And I'm getting that signal from a splitter off my attic antenna that is also feeding my HR10-250, right beside the S3, which displays 30-1 just fine (and 32-1 and 32-3 have the exact same signal on it, all 3 of which show up just fine on the HR10-250).

Did you try swapping the OTA connections? Unplug the HR10 and plug it into the S3?

If it's a signal problem, it will follow the cable. The splitter and/or cable could certainly be causing a difference in signal strength on one of the connections. Are you using a quality splitter (e.g. Viewsonics), or a cheapo one?

S3's won't tune in Fox here in Orlando at all. I wonder if it's the same problem.

I believe I'm using a Philips splitter, but nonetheless I've gone to the signal strength page on all the systems, and I show 85% signal strength even though the S3 just shows a gray page.
