Painkiller Jane series on Sci Fi channel

The comics were great but the SCI-FI original movie that came out last year was disappointing. Maybe this time around they will put a better script together for the series.

They've completely revamped it from the pilot.

This starts Friday and looks interesting. Any chance they are going to show in HD on one of the HD channels like they did with BSG?

Not familiar with the Painkiller Jane character, comic books, wherever it hails from, but set an SP anyway.
Didn't even know there was a made for TV movie already.
Looks watchable.

From what I've read online, the TV series has been reworked from last fall's 2-hour movie. I think there was some recasting and maybe some shifts in the plots introduced in the movie, but I can't recall any specifics.
I never saw the movie, so I have no expectations or comparisons to make, but I'll watch the premiere this Friday.
