Is it possible to use Tivo and a Freeview PVR?

I have an original UK Tivo which is connected to a Freeview box (Thomson DTI2300). This works 100% OK and I have not had any problems.

I do not want to get rid of Tivo, but I would like to have more disk space available, and perhaps be able to watch one "Freeview" channel whilst Tivo is taping another. Would it be possible for me to replace my existing Freeview box, with a Freeview PVR box? Would Tivo still work through it?

I suppose the "simple" solution to this would be to keep my existing Tivo/Freeview set-up, then add a new PVR to my television via another scart socket. But this would mean two Top-up TV subscriptions....

I was just curious to see if it would work? Any advice would be much appreciated (and also recommendations for PVR's)....

Many thanks in advance,
Bilko UK

Your Freeview PVR would only have one output on it, so even if TiVo could control it (unlikely as it could be in one of its menus) you couldn't watch something from the PVR while TiVo was recording something from it.

Your best solution would be to solve your disk space problem by upgrading the hard disk, and buy a second Freeview box to watch live tv when you need to. This would also be cheaper - under £100.
