Exclamation Conflicts with The Navigator Operating System

My Cable prvider (Time Warner) is in the process of upgrading the Operating System in all of their boxes with the Navigator O.S. in my city (Lincoln NE) and now when my Series One Tivo (Phillips) tries to carry out a scheduled recording the box does not always change channels fast enough (and some times not at all) and I wind up recording something other than what I wanted. (If you stop the recording or when it reaches the end of the scheduled recording the box will then finished tuning to the proper channel.)
Is there any way to adjust (widen) the time frame window that Tivo uses carrying out a scheduled recording to allow Navigator to finish tuning in the proper channel? I'm talking about maybe 3 seconds longer.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, when you choose which cable box remote code to use, you can choose "fast" "medium" or "slow." Go to Settings->Channels->Channel Changng.

Did this change fix the problem? Time Warner in Columbus Ohio recently switched to the Navigator system and I'm having the same problem now.

I just got a call from TW in Dayton, Ohio that said they are upgrading the guide on my STBs o Navigator tomorrow. I've got a Series 2 hooked to each one. Has anyone experienced any issues with changing channels lately, and if so, does anyone have a fix?
