Weird issue yesterday

Hi,

I came home yesterday from being out of town for the weekend. One of my HR10's didn't have any signal quality at all, on either satellite or antenna.

My other unit was just fine. It happened sometime yesterday after 5:00 am (I had some things set to record over night Saturday/Sunday, and they went fine).

Basically, I was getting "channel not available" messages on both satellite and antenna. The rest of the unit appeared just fine (I could watch previously recorded shows).

I ran the system tests, and it said I had "0% signal quality on both satellite and antenna".

At any rate, I rebooted the box and all is well, but I am curious if anybody has seen this.

Lastly, both of my boxes are still on 3.1.5f, so it's not a 6.3 or 6.3a issue.

I have a similar problem. I was actually watching a program when the download started.

After the phone call finished, my box re-booted and after it had been up for a few minutes, it tried to re-boot again. After the second boot, nothing ever showed on the screen and the remote had no effect.

I finally forced another boot by un-plugging the power cable and then plugging it back in. After this boot, everything seemed to work again, but it still showed 3.1f.

During each of the boots, it seemed to have problems reaching all of the satellites. During the early morning when this was tried, there was heavy rain in this area which might have prevented the download of all the slices for 6.3a.
