I had no idea... (Prison Break)
I had no idea that DB Cooper is (was? ) a real person. Is this common knowledge? I'm not from the US (moved here 8 years ago), so maybe that's why. Quote about him on the first page that a Google search gives: "D.B. Cooper's nom de crime—no one knows his real name—may be the most recognized alias among western felons since Jack the Ripper."

yes, pretty well known.. i beleive there has been at least one movie about it and a song referenced him

I think that the show said that the news in the show down played the amount of money to not make them selfs seem as foollish
