Sorry if this thread has already been started...I couldn't find one.
This is my guilty pleasure. I don't know what draws me to this show, but I love it.
My rants this week: I can't believe how everyone's going off on Melrose. Being in a house full of people, the least that could be asked is that if she does the cooking, that someone (anyone) else washes the dishes afterward. These girls are complete slobs!! I can't believe anyone would want to live like that...ewww!
I was also mad about Jay and his subsequent opinion of the photo shoot about Melrose. They completely set her up for that one and I think it sucks for Tyra to label her a **** without reviewing tape or listening to her side of what happened. If she'd tried to explain about the massage messing up the makeup (which I'm sure they scheduled for her) and having to have it redone, they would have cut her off and labeled her as an excuse maker. Very disappointing to see Tyra jump to conclusions and be so harsh on someone based on that.
Monique has "the look", but oh my, she MUST go! I think she believes that she's already won, the house is hers, and the other girls are there to serve her. Ugh! Talk about model stereotypes! These are the girls they always end up really liking too, but you'd think if they wanted to bust the stereotypes, they'd get rid of the biggest divas right away (but I guess ratings are more important than breaking down stereotypes...).
The nude photo shoot: I kinda expected this to be a test for the girls about "did you sign an iron-clad legal agreement about the use of these photos or are you just willing to take off your clothes for any photographer?" a la the season where they were supposed to sign the contract and Tyra lectured them about it afterwards.
