If i'm cascading my multiswitch, do i need 4- one way passive high frequency splitters or 4 all passive high frequency splitters?

You can only use splitters if you are splitting the signals before they are fed to a 4x multiswitches. So this isn't really cascading the multiswitches but installing them in parallel. And then the proper ones are passive on only one leg versions. Be sure that the outputs from the splitters are connected to the same corresponding inputs on the switches and that only one of the switches is connected to the passive ports.
