I've been angry and have been posting negatively the past few days but I'm better now. I would however like to say well done to Comcast who have seriously gone up in my estimation.
I had a call from Todd at Comcast yesterday leaving a message to call him with regard to my Saturday installation. I called back today expecting a "We can't make it" or "Cablecards only in TV's" or some such but no.....
Todd is in charge of cablecards in this area and he had noticed this installation and that it was an S3. Seeing as this was new (the first they have done) he wanted to know if he I would mind if they could use this as a learning exercise. He's going to have supervisors aware and available and he himself will be available. They want to learn how to do it for themselves for the next time.
....and he doesn't want to charge me for the instal.
