S3 and the wireless adapter

Will the existing TiVo Wireless Network Adapter (AG0100) work with the S3? Can we use any USB G adapter?

Thanks

Sergio

We don't know yet, but it's a good bet that the Tivo-branded wireless G adapter will work.

The Tivo Branded adapter definitely works - others, we'll see.

I didn't even know Tivo made any. Are they wpa compatible, the G ones? If not, what's the easiest way to get that set up? I can't downgrade my security, but I heard there's a way around it.

The TiVo adapters are 11g, but currently TiVo does not support WPA on ANY adapters. However, they are working on it and it looks like it'll be on their adapter first. If you need WPA you need to use an external WiFi bridge and wired Ethernet on the TiVo.

I'm assuming that you mean something http://reviews.cnet.com/D_Link_AirPl...-30618430.html

Linksys also makes one called the WET54G I think. I have a Dlink router that is pretty new; I'm assuming I should keep with the same brand. Thanks.
