sort codes for hr10-250

So, this is probably covered somewhere, and yes, I could probably spend an hour searching to find it - but I don;t have that kind of time. So a little help is appreciated - looking for remote codes for the hr10-250. Since it could be a qhile before we get folders <cough, cough>, I really just would like the 'sort' code, so that I can sort my NOW PLAYING list alphabetically. Does this even exist for this unit?

Sure - simply press your remote buttons in this order, while displaying the "now Playing" screen:

SLOW

"Zero"

RECORD

THUMBS UP


You'll hear a "ding-ding-ding" and a banner will then appear at the bottom of the screen with instructions.

BTW - that (sorta) spells SORT, if that helps you remember it.

Always takes me a few times to get it right, after a reboot. Inevitably I try "select" before "slow" and "right arrow" before "record".

This worked like a champ! Thanks...so much easier to navigate now. Are there any other codes like this for the HR10-250. I've done a little searching, but apparently my "forum search skills" are ****e.

Go to the Underground forum and click on the 2nd sticky - "Almost Complete Codes List...". That list is very dated (it came out at the time of Series 1) and so I don't know how much of it is still relevant. But you may find something useful.

The most useful is SPS30S. While watching a recorded show, select play select three zero select.

Enables 30-second skip. Advance button -->| (above "Input" if memory serves). Press it repeatedly until the show comes back on, then hit the "go back 6 seconds" button a few times if needed.
