Hooking up tivo with DVD and VCR

Hi. I recently moved to a new apartment, and got a dvd, and now I cannot get all
3 systems to work. I finally got the vcr and dvd to work, but now have NO tivo :-(
any ideas?

I do not have cable; but I do have the cable plugged in to use as an antenna.

In my old apartment I had my vcr hooked up on a a/b switch box, and one side was tivo, and one side was vcr. Now, i have the vcr/dvd on one side, but tivo doesn't work on the other side.

It's still recording, but I can't get the tivo screen. HELP! I don't want to cancel my tivo!!

You'll have to describe what connectors you have on the back of your TV.

Might also want to describe what each end of each cable you are using right now is currently plugged into, although it seems you have made some sort of error.

Most likely you just need to get a switch that handles at least 3 components rather than just two. Alternately you can plug the Tivo into the VCR, though that would limit ability to view Tivo while the VCR is recording & isn't the easiest way to go.

Could I ask if the VCR and DVD player are the same machine (in one "box")?

You said you have them both on one side of the A/B switch...

Also, what TYPE of A/B switch is it?

Audio/Video, or RF (antenna cable)?
