Thank You TIVO for Desktop 2.3a

My wife and I were just discussing getting a PMP but we weren't sure which one. She is on kidney dialysis and just sitting for 4 hrs is a boring time. I was trying to convince her to get a PMP with video.

Now with Desktop 2.3a we will be getting a Creative Zen Vision and I will be able to download, very easily I might add , her shows to the PMP.

I have been making DVD's for her but the laptop is just too heavy and hot.

I'll be the first to say, I hope everything works out ok for your wife!!!!!

I also hope it works out for your wife. My wife had to do Peritoneal dialysis which she could do at home - this was when we bought our second TiVo so she would have one upstairs in our bedroom. She was on a schedule for the dialysis so it was really key that her TV shows would be on that same schedule

PS my wife received a Kidney donation from her Brother and is doing great now. I will add to my prayers it goes as well for your wife.
