So glad to see Sara go. But my god, Virginia is a ditz.

For some reason, my Tivo didn't record the last 15 minutes of the show so I didn't see who got voted out. In the preview it showed that she asked a question during the elimination. What was the question?

I couldn't take watching Heather cry. Her "Flo moments" (AR reference) are too much sometimes.

Well, now it's now to trash talking Heather, Keith the doofus, and Virginia, who really wants to win but just can't seem to keep her s**t together through a service.
I still think she's taking home the prize, not just because Ramsay likes her best.

Yep I think Keith will have a meltdown and he will go home next week.

I just stumbled onto this show last night--kind of a hoot!
I was kind of shocked by how unfair it was at the end though: the chef says Virginia is not safe, so Heather nominates her and Sara, then all of a sudden she IS safe again? Weird. They obviously haven't really thought out the whole "safe" thing. If Heather is allowed to choose any two, including the safe one, then basically she gets to select who is going to be kicked off that week, not Chef. If I were her I probably would have tried to get rid of my strongest competition which, at least based on tonight's episode, seems to be Keith. Or, since it seems Virginia is not strong, she could have put up the other two and let Chef decide which to kick out while keeping the weak link for another day.
I think it was great fun to watch the dinner, with all the swearing and pissing and moaning. You have to wonder whether the customers can hear all that!!

She started to interrupt Virginia and Gordon quickly cut her off, telling her to "shut the <bleep> up for 30 seconds."

Loved that Virginia brought back a cow as a gift for Sara. Ha!

This show has gone that way. The Chef 'expects' that you will vote off the weakest of the service, rather than the strongest competition.
Although it would appear the best strategy, from the moment they move into a single team, would be to put up the strongest competition, the producers potentially do not condone it.

+1, I thought she was joking around with Ramsey at first - I'm glad she went through with it.

That's great for the show. And, the person who chooses does have to justify it somewhat. Given the way Ramsey seems to do whatever he wants I wouldn't be at all surprised if he overrode the choice of final two if he didn't agree with either one.

I felt that the other contestants were ungrateful for the gifts bought from the shopping spree that was won. Keith especially showed an ugly side with his comments about how his gift better be more expensive than the others. I'm glad he sent Sara home.

Yeah, I felt a little icky about that, too. She didn't have to bring them anything (although I'm glad she brought Sara the cow. I hated watching her. )
I think Heather's probably the most qualified to run a restaurant, but each of the other two have strengths that might not necessarily be in management (making up recipes, etc.)

If I'm given $1,000 for myself (apparently the upper limit), I would be hesitant to any of that away on other people that are more likely than me to win the main prize. Virginia did right IMO.
But she should have gone last night. But I'm not sorry to see the other cow go

Virginias' safety net was taken away from her with her screw ups in the kitchen. I don't know if I would have given her that choice, if she can't run a veggie station, how is she gonna run a restaurant??

In asking her if she really wanted to go, 2 things would happen.
1. She was a quitter and should go.
2. She takes it back and will now have renewed determination.
I say She wins.

I think Ramsay was trying to communicate that he really didn't want her to give up, but wanted her to step up and make the decision. She's taken a lot of s**t from him, but 99.999% of the time, he's been right!
Agree that ability to work the hot line probably isn't much of a test of her ability to manage a restaurant. Like Ramsay, she'll hire a staff of butt-kissers for all that dirty work!

I fast forwarded through most of this episode. I can't stand the Big Brotherish stuff in the dorms. I'd rather see them in the kitchen.

backdoored sara...great strategy indeed
imagine if the prison dude made it this far..would have been knives flying everywhere.
burning peas...too funny. Notice very few shots of them in the spa anymore? The cow was wonderful. She really probably did put a lot of thought into the expensive gifts. I just wonder if she was told to buy gifts or did it on her own. Very very considerate buying a crab cracker to remind them of what they did all day. She knows how to score points for sure.

Why did everyone rate Heather's chicken the lowest? I knew Virginia's would win (the only one I would buy if all were on the menu), but I figured that Heather's would also be a favorite? I am stunned that it was not Sara's quail and berries (WTH?)? But apparently she knew her audiences palate better than I did.

I did think the chicken sandwiches with fries would go over better with construction workers....but then again they probably eat that all the time. They were probably looking for something more creative....then again V's flirting sure didn't hurt.

I would have bought them all something good... maybe a good chef's knife or something along those lines. I thought she looked like a total jackass with those stupid little things she brought back.
Virginia's a total, clueless twit... She has done little right the whole time... The only thing I can see keeping her there is her looks and CONSTANT flirting with Gordon outside of the kitchen. Ramsey is aparently a sucker for a cute skirt with some serious emotional baggage attached.

I was yelling at the TV for her to take off her chef jacket and let them breathe. Now THAT would have pumped up sales.

I totally agree!!! Even more so when after that they showed her dragging the bags and bags and bags of stuff she bought for herself.
If this is a fair contest there is "no way" she should be picked to win the restaurant. She fails just about every time she gets in the kitchen.
