DirecTV remote Programming - Rotel/HR10-250

I have the HR10-250 receiver and a Rotel RSX-1057 Receiver.

I have the HR10-250 programmed to change channel, and volume on the Rotel, but can't power off the TV (or Receiver which is less important).

Is there a way to programme the remote to effect volume on the RECEIVER, channel and TV power??

If you want the tivo peanut remote to power OFF/ON the TV , Aud receiver, and control the vol of the Aud rec, you need to perform 3 steps:

1. press and hold DTv & TV power until the light remains on, enter the Tv code
2. press and hold DTV & Mute, enter Aud rec code
3. press and hold DTV & TV Power, enter the Aud rec code again

That worked for the ch., aud vol, TV pwr, but not aud rec pwr.

Am I doing somthing wrong??

Its probably the preset code, other brands like onkyo, yamaha, HK give either one or the other, on or off, or none at all. unless theres other codes to try, there isn't anymore you can do.
