Hi guys. I'm a commited DTiVo user, but recently moved my Series 2 into another room of the house, and it gets way, way more usage than it used to. I don't know if I'm getting a new issue, or if it's something that's always existed, however, I am experiencing a problem with sound quality. I watch a lot of Comedy Central and History channel, however, I'm sure htis happens on other channels.
The sound level will drop, and get kind of garbled, like a low encryption bitrate MP3, and takes on the quality as if the TV were in a bucket. This happens with both live, and recorded programming.
Rebooting the TiVo does not help. However, the same show via TTG does not have the problem.
Any suggestions?
NOTE: I don't think this is the kazoo issue, as rebooting the device doesn't help, and it doesn't sound anything at all like a kazoo (?).
