I have an ooold series 1 for which I had purchased the lifetime programming subscription. If I get a series 2, can I move that subscription to the new TiVo (and ditch the old one)?
It depends on when you bought the lifetime on the Series 1. I believe the cutoff date was January 2000--if you bought it before then, you should have no problem with a transfer.
