"Cannot Display Live TV" message

My Tivo worked fine until I installed a wireless network. I have a Scientific Atlanta cable box from Time-Warner. I disconnected the phone cable when I switched over to the network.

Now I have had a "Tivo DVR cannot display live TV" screen for several days. I have gone through the list of suggestions (several times) to no avail.

I am using the Tivo brand adapter and a Lynksys Wireless G router.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP...I can't watch The Daily Show...

You have checked all connections to assure they are tight or did not come out when you installed the adapter.

Make sure your Tivo is looking at the proper signal input -- meaning composite/s-video/coaxial rf ... Messages/Setup... Connections to DVR.

Make sure your Cable Box is on.

Whether or not you have a wireless network adapter (or a network adapter at all) has nothing to do with getting Live TV.

Make sure the connections from your cable box are going to the input, not the output. They are the same colors ...
