Channel Lineup changed on my Tivo, Channel removed but still exist

Earlier today, I read the latest message from my tivo and it mention that it deleted Channel 49 from my lineup, Channel 49 from my analogue cable lineup is actually GSN, Gameshow Network, Somehow I still receive the channel, But Tivo is no longer showing it on there lineup. Is there a way to force the Tivo to add this channel back into the lineup? I'm using a Series 1 Tivo btw. The message came on June 6th, But I been busy all week.

It's possible your cable company intends to delete the channel.

The listings source that TiVo uses may have been notified about the deletion, and the result is it got deleted on the date the cable company said it'd happen...

...only the cable company ended up not doing it on that date.

Others have had the same thing happen, and not just to "lesser" channels like GSN.

Keep an eye on it.

If the channel continues to be there but the TiVo keeps thinking it's not, maybe the listings service got something wrong. If they did, you can report the lineup error to TiVo.

Here-
https://customersupport.tivo.com/caseSubmitLineup.asp?

Click on that link when you think enough time has passed, and give them the info.

They'll likely double check, and if the deletion was a legit error, TiVo will have the channel restored in just a few days.

In the meantime, if you record something on that channel for a bit, your TiVo will create a new channel listing for it ('Cab 49'). Select that in channels you receive. You won't have Guide Data, but you'll be able to schedule manual recordings for that channel. Once your lineup is fixed, simply check the real listing and uncheck the one you created.

i don't know how dif a series 1 is from a series 2, in "2" you can add or delete channels.. messages and settings/settings/channels

from there you checkmark the ones you want or don't want to show up on your tivo schedule
