Does Anybody Remember When The HR10 Was Hard To Find?

i'm having a "debate" with someone else on another forum and i need some help, please.

unless i'm losing my mind, which has been rumored , wasn't the HR10 hard to find not so long ago?

i remember places being sold out and people asking where to find one.

i appreciate the help.

IIRC, not only was it hard to find...it was also very expensive...

While I was not in the market for one at that time (though I am now), I do recall them being scarce...but because I was not in the market, I cannot claim real life experience and frustration of finding one...

Hopefully someone else out there had the actual experience trying to get one in a scarce market...

I remember the issue being one of release date first, then availability. For a while the VE preorder was the only way to get one. I asked CC a few times to look up the receiver and they'd show it in their system, then call and say they were only getting a handful (3 or so?) during that particular month and they were preordered 2 to 3 times that amount. And yes, they retailed for $999, no rebates.

But I think the OP is looking at not too long ago. I don't remember any problems in over a year or so. Hope that helps.
