CSI: NY 5/17 "Charge of this Post" spoilers

Am I the only one still watching?

Just caught up on last night's CSI: NY -- definitely not for the squeamish!

When Mac opened up the bag and saw all the C4, my husband quipped, "That's the best acting I've seen from Sinise on CSI:NY."

Gotta agree, it was a great reaction shot.

Interesting how they are pulling in Mac's background in the Marines for 2 weeks in a row now. (It was weird watching last week after watching NCIS for so long -- I was thinking "when are Gibbs and his team going to show up -- oh, right, they're busy.")

And I have to give to the guys in the makeup department this week.

Eeeeeewwwwwwwww.

Good thing we have the "CSI rule" in my house (no CSI during dinner hour).

Jan

I lost track of this show after the first 4 or 5 episodes. I did not like how dark it always looked. Plus the fact that they did not shoot it in New York (which of course they changed this season). I love Gary Sinise, but this show reminds me of the lead in CSI Miami. No emotions. Or maybe I should say one emotion all the time.
For some reason Grimsom is so much better I hate watching all the other CSI stuff.
Plus his supporting crew on Las Vegas is second to none.

Did anyone notice that his records show his rank as Sgt. and when he talks about his experience he says he was a Leiutenant?

And what gives the deluded whack job the rank of Lance Corporal.

I'm suprised the didn't do a 9/11 flashback since that is when Sinise's character lost his wife given the theme of not being prepared.

Anyone notice the misspelling on the notebook they recovered?

Spoiler:
seperation should have been separation

So let me see if I got this straight: the bomber had a history of mental illness, and in fact was ill enough that he had been on antipsychotic drugs for some time-- yet he worked for the NSA?

Or did I misunderstand something?

Ah, okay-- that makes a lot more sense.

Although I could have sworn there was a scene with him and the real NSA boss where she was telling him what to do. Must have just mixed him up with one of the other actors.

It was Homeland Security, not the NSA. Yes, he was employed. Not only was he working the scene with them and the lead DHS agent acknowledged him as an employee, but at the beginning he had attended one of Bonasera's seminars she presented on bombs. So, either he was employed or he was a good enough fake to look employed to the DHS SAC whose team he was a member of...

But, what the heck. It's TV, anyone can get a job with the top-flight agencies!
