Can I Transfer between tivos with the zipper!

I have about 300 hours of stuff I want to transfer to a different tivo. A brief history. I upgraded my dvr40 to 447 hours. So that one is done and from what I have read i cant transfer again. What i want to do is upgrade another of my tivos dsr704 to have 500 hours and transfer via usb the recordings on my dvr40. My biggest question is do the transfers go in real time(which would take forever) and can they be transferred in this way at all. Keep in mind neither machine is zippered now but may be in the future.

You can MRV (transfer) shows between DTivos if they are hacked (and zipper will do this for you). "So that one is done and from what I have read i cant transfer again." I'm not sure what you mean by this statement. You would transfer through a network adapter that plugs into the USB port. Each tivo shows up on the NPL of the other. As for speed, I can transfer an hour show from one tivo to another in about 5-10 minutes (give or take on what is going on on my network). I love it not being limited to watching a show I recorded upstairs up there.
