Tivo Desktop can only be used with the SA tivo's right? And the only thing we can use (for DirectTivo's)is the TivoWebPlus right?
Now unless I'm missing something... we can't stop a recording, or do transfers from one tivo to the other from with in the WebPlus right? I would have to do it @ each tivo.

If your Dtivo is hacked, Tivo Desktop can be used for photos and music.

Tivoweb has nothing to do with MRV. If you hack your 6.2 DTivo, you can use MRV, and also use TivoDesktop for music and photos.
If you want to move video to your PC, you'll need to use other tools.

You can use MRV between a hacked S2 non-HD DTiVo (hacks including disabling encryption) and a similarly hacked S2 non-HD box (either DTiVo or standalone). You cannot use it between a hacked DTiVo and non-hacked standalone.

You need the old version (1.3 IIRC) of TD to use with a hacked D-TiVo, or JavaHMO.
