Is there an easier way to delete all old nag messages other than clicking on each one and deleting them one by one? I think it would be faster if I use the remote but that is not an option now after I upgraded this HDVR2 with a bigger drive and I needed to save all the shows on it.
So now I can no longer view the old messages that are in the tivo using the on screen ui with the remote as it just hangs on the messages screen then goes to live tv after about 10 minutes. But I can see all 10-11 months of nag messages in the mail module in TWP.
I was going to delete them all in the mail module but 5 clicks to delete each message is a little too much. Any ideas on an easier way to get rid of them all? Where does the mail reside on the tivo? I was looking at the code in mail.itcl and it is all chinese to me. Maybe I need to get jkeegans book and re-write it so there is a check box next to each message and a select all box and then delete.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
