Yahoo! Go & Tivo

So I was looking through my techie news today and noticed that Yahoo came out with it's own media center. A lot of articles say that it could lure people away from products like Tivo, but it is unclear how this will effect their relationship with Tivo.
I have been a long time Tivo user, but with the new pricing plans I have been shopping around for alternatives. I know the Yahoo Go software is still in the beta testing phase, but has anyone else tried it out?

I've tried it... it's most definitely an early Beta. I doubt it would lure people away from a stand-alone box like a TiVo, but once they polish it up folks might consider it over say BeyondTV, SageTV, or Windows MCE. Though as megazone says, Windows MCE is free on many computers these days and media center features will be built in to Vista, so it's an uphill battle. If much of what you do is Yahoo-centric it could be a nice 10' portal one day and I assume they'll try to leverage song and video purchases through the interface eventually. (I also don't know how (if) it will effect their relationship with TiVo and haven't given it much thought.)
