"Enhanced Tivo" interruptions

I looked thru the FAQs, got nothing.

How do I stop these "Tivo Enhanced Content" updates during my recordings?

I sometimes tend to record stuff in the early hours (between 12a.m - 7a.m.) and often these "updates" interrupt my recordings and I miss a good chunk of my shows.

Please help. How do I turn this off or at least have them delayed to activate during non-recording hours??

1) You can't turn them off.

2) However, if you are recording something else, the enhanced content will never record instead. It's impossible that they interrupted your recordings making you miss a good chunk of your shows. Impossible.

The additional content should rank below anything else that you have scheduled, and shouldn't interrupt your recordings.

But actually, my recordings are being interrupted, but not for the reasons I thought they were.

Stupid me, because of your explanations, I just realized that although I am recording on the Humax box, the signal is actually coming from the Directivo box. Since the standalone is not actually doing the recording, the updates happen anyway.

Thanks everyone for clearing it up.
