old SAT T-60 questions

Is there any worth to these Recievers ...

I guess I'm asking about its hackability, etc.

Second, it seems as the reciever ports were blown by lighting or something. I get no satellite connection but yet when I hook up my other TiVO's they are fine.

Is it worth fixing? or do I just scrap the box and rip the drives out?

You might be surprised what a dead T60 will fetch on eBay. The lightning strike means, however, that lots of things could be wrong with it .... power supply, motherboard, hard drive, etc.
